Pentax introduces a new Optio V20 digital camera. V20 is a compact camera with 8 megapixel sensor, 5x zoom lens and 5.1x digital zoom. The V20 can record 640×480 videos at 30fps.
The V20 comes with Digital SR Mode, ISO up to 6400, Face recognition and a 3-inch LCD display. The camera offers 51.1 MB internal memory and supports SD, SDHC cards.
 
One of the three new Canon’s new cameras, PowerShot SD890 IS (IXY DIGITAL 820 IS) is the most advanced. It features a 10 megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. You can also find ISO sensitivity up to 1600, Face detection, motion detection and a 2.5-inch LCD screen.
The new SD890 is also powered by DIGIC III image sensor. It comes with a 2.5-inch LCD screen and has a memory card slot that supports SD, SDHC and MMC cards. The camera will be priced at $399.99.
Another new camera from Canon, PowerShot SD770 IS (IXY DIGITAL 25 IS) is a 10 megapixel digital camera that features a 3x zoom lens, 4x digital zoom, ISO rating up to 1600 and a 2.5-inch LCD display.
Like the other Canon cameras, the SD770 comes with also Canon’s DIGIC III image processor. It supports also Face Detection, and motion detection. The camera has a card slot that and read SD, SDHC and MMC cards.
Canon announced the new PowerShot SD790 IS (aka IXY DIGITAL 95 IS in Japan) compact digital camera. SD790 features 10 megapixel CCD sensor, 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. It houses Canon’s DIGIC III image processor, and supprts face detection, motion detection for image stabilization.
The SD790 is capable in capturing 640×480 videos at 30fps. It has a 3-inch LCD display. SD, SDHC and MMC memory cards are supported. The retail price of the camera is around $349.99.
This is Toshiba’s Gigashot GSC-DW1 DVD Burner, which is supposed to be companion for you gigashot devices. It works with Toshiba gigabyte A and K series of camcorder. The device record to DVD-R via USB2.0 interface. It will available in March for 17,800 Yen.
