Olympus announced a new DSLR, Evolt E-420, which is one of the smallest and lightest DSLR. Featuring retro design, the E-420 is a 10 megapixel camera with Live View technology, up to 1600 ISO rating, a 2.7-inch LCD display.
Equipped with Olympus TruPic III image processor, E-420 supports Face Detection, Shadow Adjustment, Contrast AF. E-420 accepts both xD and CF memory cards.

Casio introduces the new compact EXILIM Zoom EX-Z9 digital camera. The Z9 features a 8 megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, ISO rating up to 1600 and a 2.6-inch LCD display. Casio EXILIM Zoom EX-Z9 can record 848 x 480 (HQ Wide) videos. It offers also Face Detection, Anti-shake and it accepts SD and SDHC memory cards. It is priced at 159.99 USD.

This is the Minox DC 7411 digital camera, which claimed to be Minox’s slimmest digital camera. Minox DC 7411 is a 7 megapixel camera with a 3x zoom MINOCTAR lens. It offers electronic image stabilization, electronic face detection and an ISO rating up to 1000. The DC 7411 has 32MBÂ internal storage and accepts SD, SDHC cards.

This is Nikon’s CoolPix S210 compact entry-level digital camera. It comes with a 8 megapixel image sensor, 3x zoom, 2000 ISO, Electronic VR Image Stabilization, and a 2.5-inch LCD display. It has 52MB internal memory and supports SD/SDHC cards.

Sony introduces a new ultra zoom digital camera, Cyber-Shot DSC-H50. DSC-H50 is a 9 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 15x zoom lens, 2x digital zoom, ISO up to 3200, SteadyShot Image Stabilization, and Burst mode.
The camera supports also in-camer photo editing. It can capture 640×480 video at 30fps. The camera has 15MB internal storage and supports Memory Stick DUO PRO. The camera will be available in 7 May for $399.99. It is now available for pre-order.
