Panasonic announced the new handheld AG-HMC150 AVCHD 1080 camcorder. The Panasonic AG-HMC150 comes with 3 CCD image sensor and a Leica Dicomar 13x zoom lens. The camcorder can record high quality 1080 and 720 high definition videos and encode in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 high profile.

The AG-HMC150 offers also 14-bit A / D conversion, optical stabilization, and 19-bit image processor.

DXG introduces the new DXG-569V, a HD digital camcorder costs you only $169 USD. The DXG-569V comes with a 5 megapixel sensor that is able to capture 1280×720 (720p) video clips at 30fps. It can also capture 5 megapixel pictures. The 569V offers 2x digital zoom.

The videos captured will be encoded in H.264 or mov formats. DXG-569V  features a 3-inch LCD screen and is able to do voice recording.

Panasonic introduces the new VariCam 3700 P2 HD camcorder, which is the flagship model of the VariCam HD series. The VariCam 3700(model AJ-HPX3700) comes with a 23-inch 2.2 megapixel 3CCD image sensor that can capture full HD 1920×1080 images.

The VariCam 3700 supports a 4:4:4 RGB dual-link live output to deliver pristine images ideal for composition of visual effects even while recording. It can records in full-raster 1920×1080 resolution in AVC-intra 100, and records in AVC-Intra 50 and DVCPRO HD as well.

Sanyo introduces a new member of its Xacti digital camcorder lineup, the DMX-CA8 that is a waterproof camcorder. Sanyo Xacti DMX-CA8 is equipped with a 1/2.5-inch 8 megapixel image sensor, 5x optical zoom lens and a 2.5-inch LCD display.

The JIS IPX5/IPX8 qualified CA8 records video clips in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264  compression profile.

The water resistant camcorder comes with also 12x digital zoom, an ISO rating up to 1600, support for Face Chaser, and digital image stabilization.
