It can also record 1280×720 HD videos clips at 60fps. Videos are encoded with H.264 video codec. This budget camcorder offers 90MB memory and a SD/SDHC/MMC memory card slot. It costs 49800 Yen.
DXG shows us another budget HD camcorder, the DXG-567V. The $179 camcorder is equipped with a 5 megapixel sensor and a 2-inch LCD display. It features 2x digital zoom and is able to record 720p 1280×720 movies at 30fps. Videos are record in H.264 mov format.
The DXG-567V comes with 32MB built-in memory and a SDHC memory card slot.
This is a sub-$200 budget camcorder, Aiptek HDV21X that can capture HD videos. The Aiptek HDV21X has a 8 megapixel image sensor, 3x optical zoom and 2-inch macro shooting. It features also auto focus, night shot and red-eye reduction.
The Aiptek HDV21X is capable in recording 1440 x 1080 video at 30fps or 1280 x 720 at 60fps in H.264 format.
The camcorder can also be connected to TV, VCR or DVD player for video recording. It has a 2.4-inch swivel LCD display. IT costs $199.
RCA offers the Small Wonder series budget-priced camcorder There are 3 models available, including the Small Wonder MyLife (EZ200), Small Wonder Pocket (EZ205) and Small Wonder Traveler (EZ210).
Pirced at $89, the Small Wonder MyLife has 1.5-inch display. With 1GB microSD card, it can record up to 30 minutes of high quality video or 60 minutes of web quality videos.
Small Wonder Pocket also comes with a 1.5-inch display and priced at $100.
Small Wonder Traveler offers 2.4-inch display. It can record up to 60 minutes of high quality video or 240 minutes of web quality videos. It cost $150.
Sealife DC800 is a waterproof digital camera that is “designed to take high-resolution images up to 200 feet underwater”. The Sealife DC800 features a 8 megapixel CCD image sensor, 4x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom.
DC800 can capture 640×480 videos with sound. There is a 2.7-inch LCD screen. In addition to 32MB internal memory, the DC800 supports SD and SDHC memory cards.
