Panasonic introduces a new Full HD camcorder, HDC-SD9. Panasonic HDC-SD9 is probably the smallest and lightest 3CCD Full HD camcorder in the world. HDC-SD9 features 3 560k pixel CCD image sensor, Leica Dicomar lens with 10x of optical zoom supporting F1.8 wide angle and support for AVCHD recording format.

The SD9 has Panasonic’s Advanced O.I.S. image stabilizer, Dolby Digital microphone and a 2.7-inch widescreen LCDscreen.

Both SD and SDHC are supported for storage. It is priced at $799.95.

Panasonic presents in Japan the SDR-S7, an ultra lightweight SD camcorder. It weighs only 160g, but packs a 10x optical zoom, ability to record 640×480 MPEG-2 videos, a 2.7-inch screen. It supports SD and SDHC cards. Available later this month in Japan, the Panasonic SDR-S7 has a price tag of 44800 Japanese Yen.
