Lancerlink, from Japan, offers the DDV-1080HD, an entry-level budet-priced HD digital camcorder. The DDV-1080HD features a 5 megapixel sensor, that can capture 1440×1080 movies at 30fps. It comes with a 3-inch LCD display,

It can also record 1280×720 HD videos clips at 60fps. Videos are encoded with H.264 video codec. This budget camcorder offers 90MB memory and a SD/SDHC/MMC memory card slot. It costs 49800 Yen.

Canon presents two new AVCHD digital camcorders, the iVIS HF11 and HG21. Both camcorders are equipped with a 3.31 megapixel Full HD CMOS sensor from Canon and 12x optical zoom lens. It offers also 40x digital zoom.

Both  HF11 & HG21 come with Canon’s DIGIV DV II image processor. They can capture 1920×1080 HD images in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 formats. HF11 and HG21 has a 32GB internal flash memory and 120GB hard drive respectively and they both get a 2.7-inch LCD screen.

Samsung introduces the new YouTube-friendly SC-MX20 camcorder that has 34x optical zoom. Samsung SC-MX20 has a 680K pixel CCD image sensor which is capable in capturing 720×480 videos, and the powerful Schneider 34x optical zoom lens. You can also get the advanced noise reduction (3-D Noise Reduction), Advanced Image Stabilization and Face Detection.

The camcorder comes with a 2.7-inch LCD screen and it has a special YouTube mode that can videos for uploading to YouTube. Samsung SC-MX20 record videos in H.264 codec and store videos in SD, SDHC (up to 32GB) and MMC+ cards.

DXG shows us another budget HD camcorder, the DXG-567V. The $179 camcorder is equipped with a 5 megapixel sensor and a 2-inch LCD display. It features 2x digital zoom and is able to record 720p 1280×720 movies at 30fps. Videos are record in H.264 mov format.

The DXG-567V comes with 32MB built-in memory and a SDHC memory card slot.

Sanyo introduces a new member of its Xacti camcoder family, the Xacti HD1010. Xacti HD1010 is a 4 megapixel camcorder that can record 1080i High Definition videos in MPEG/AVC/H.284 format. It features a 10x of optical zoom and 10 of digital zoom. Image enhancement functions like video and still image stabilization, face detection, wind roar and red eye reduction are also available.

It comes with 40MB internal memory and has a SDHC for external memory. HD1010 can also be used as a webcam.
