Samsung introduces also the TL9 (known as the NV9 in Europe) digital camera. Like the NV4 and i100, the TL9 is a digicam with PMP/MP3 capability. It is a 10 megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom, dual image stabilization (Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Digital Image Stabilization (DIS), ISO up to 1600, Face detection and Blink detection.
The TL9/NV9 is able to record SVGA (800×592) MPEG-4 videos.
This is Nikon’s CoolPix S600 compact digital camera. CoolPix S600 is a 10.3 megapixel camera with 4x optical Wide-Angle Zoom-NIKKOR Glass Lens, an ISO sensitivity up to 3200, optical stabilization, and a 2.7-inch LCD screen.
The S600 comes with 45 internal memory and supports SD and SDHC cards. It measures W-88.5 x H-52.7 x D-22.5mm and weighs 130g. It is priced at $299.95 USD.
Nikon annnounced the CoolPix S520, a new stylish digital camera. Nikon CoolPix S520 features a 8 Megapixel CCD image sensor, a 3x Zoom-NIKKOR lens, ISO 2000 sensitivity, and a 2.5-inch LCD screen.
S520 supports also optical image stabilization, and has the voice memo function. It has 23MB internal memory and accepts SD and SDHC cards.
Samsung offers another PMP digital camera, which is named as the i100. Actually, the i100 shares the same features as the i80, such as 3x optical zoom, Face Detection, 3-inch LCD screen, Digital Image Stabilization. It comes with also PMP functions.
However, the i100, as the model number implies, is a 10 Megapixel camera. It will also be launch in this Spring.
Samsung offers the new i80, which is a combo of digital camera and PMP. Samsung i80 has a 8 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom and features the Face Detection technology.
i80 comes with also the Digital Image Stabilization, ISO 3200 sensitivity, and a 3-inch LCD screen. The i80 can also be a PMP that supports playback of music and video clips.
It will be available this Spring.
