
Canon introduces the XL H1S and XL H1A high definition digital camcorders. They have three 1/3 inch, 1.67 Megapixel CCD Image Sensors and Canon’s 20x HD video zoom lens and are powered by Canon’s DIGIC DVII HD Image Processor.
You can expected Canon’s XL interchangeable lens system and SuperRange optical image stabilization system.
Both camcorders have six-pin IEEE 1394 port and the XL H1S model provides expanded connectivity by incorporating HD-SDI (SMPTE 299M)/SD-SDI (SMPTE272M) output with embedded audio and time code, providing a raw, uncompressed 1.485 Gbps signal for demanding live production environments, SMPTE Time Code input and output terminals, and a Genlock output terminal for multi-camera shooting situations.

DXG introduces the new DXG-569V, a HD digital camcorder costs you only $169 USD. The DXG-569V comes with a 5 megapixel sensor that is able to capture 1280×720 (720p) video clips at 30fps. It can also capture 5 megapixel pictures. The 569V offers 2x digital zoom.
The videos captured will be encoded in H.264 or mov formats. DXG-569VÂ features a 3-inch LCD screen and is able to do voice recording.

Vivitar announced a new portable HD camcorder, DVR565HD. The camcorder can record H.264/MPEG4 high definition videos at 720p at 30fps. Comes with a 3-inch flip out display, the device supports SD memory cards.

Panasonic introduces a new professional HD camcorder, the AG-HMC150, which “utilizes the second-generation long GOP HD standard called AVCHD”.
The Panasonic AG-HMC150 features 3 16:9 progressive 1/3-inch CDD sensor, 28mm Leica Dicomar wide-angle zoom lens, Optical image stabilizer. It can record 1080i and 720p videos at 13Mbps. It has also a 3.5-inch LCD display.
The camcorder supports XLR audio and HDMI inputs and it do recording on SD or SDHC memory cards.
